The School Council Review The School Council Review process involved gathering input on the effectiveness of school councils. Through workbook submissions, public forums and meetings with stakeholder groups, information was gathered and analyzed in a report called "School Councils - Next Steps". Following the release of this report Albertans were further asked for further input. Overall, 3,000 Albertans, including representatives from school councils throughout Alberta and education stakeholder organizations, participated in the review process. The Minister of Learning accepted nearly all of the final recommendations. School Council Effectiveness Study, 2004
