Alberta Learning regularly conducts or commissions research to ensure that our education system continues to meet the needs of Alberta's citizens.

Alberta University and University College Graduate Employment Outcomes Survey
In 2000, Alberta Learning surveyed 1998 graduates of Alberta universities and university colleges to assess their employment and educational outcomes two years after graduation.

The Alberta Youth Employment Strategy (AYES)
The vision of AYES is for Alberta’s young people, aged 15 to 24 years, to be able to contribute to and take full advantage of the social and economic opportunities of the 21st Century.

2003/04 Employer Satisfaction Survey
In 2003 Alberta Learning surveyed Alberta employers to assess their satisfaction with recent graduates of Alberta's learning system.

Learner, Parent and Public Satisfaction Survey
In 2002, Alberta Learning surveyed Alberta high school students, parents of ECS to grade 12 students, parents of children with severe special needs and the public to assess their satisfaction with key features of Alberta's learning system.

Partners and Stakeholders Survey
In 2001, Alberta Learning surveyed ministry partners and stakeholders to assess their satisfaction with key characteristics of the Learning ministry.

Post-Secondary Accessibility Study
Alberta Learning initiated this study to identify factors that influence a student's decision to pursue or not pursue post-secondary learning, and to understand perceptions of non-financial and financial barriers to further education.

Satisfaction with Learning in Alberta
In 2001, Alberta Learning commissioned a survey to assess satisfaction levels with Alberta's learning system.
